Who told Erisco Foods, makers of Nagiko tomato pastes, to arrest this woman?

An unknown lady who claimed to be an associate of the owner of Erisco foods, makers of Nagiko tomato pastes cried out about the ugly situation.

Here is her reaction and comment about the whole situation.

“A mistake has been made by the business that belongs to my brother. Who recommended that the management of Erisco Foods, which is responsible for producing Nagiko tomato paste, place this woman under arrest? It was a complete and utter gaffe that had the potential to do even more damage to the business than the lady's unfavourable review of the products produced by the company”.

She further stated;

“How many supporters does the woman who was detained have? How many people did she have share the post that she made? And how many people responded negatively to the post she created by leaving comments about the tomato paste? Now do the plus and the minus, and then use it to compare the thousands of negative comments on the tomato paste that I have seen on hundreds of pages and blogs since today. I have seen these remarks since today”.

“Stories of how Erisco Foods jailed a consumer for giving a critical review about their products are spreading like wildfire throughout Facebook in their entirety. The company is following the incorrect path. Some people are considering a boycott of the product, but not because of the rumour that there is sugar in the tomato paste; rather, they are considering it because of their sensitivity to unfavourable assessments of their products. There are already people who are labelling your business as an anarchist enterprise that ought not to be supported”.

“But hold on, does this imply that Erisco Foods does not periodically engage in public assessment of the products that they sell? Who is running that company, exactly? Why aren't they able to see how it's been accomplished on Google play? There is a section for customers to review every product that is available on Google Play. Even I have been guilty of criticizing Facebook in the past and giving it a poor rating or the thumbs-down”.

“Due to this lady's unfavourable assessment of Erisco's products, the company will not have the chance to become more well-known in Nigeria than any other manufacturer of tomato paste. They need to have extended an invitation to her to visit the production facility of the company and provided her with the chance to see how the tomato paste is made. They need to have brought her along with ten people who were impartial to their company so that they could observe the creation of the products and then taste the finished goods”.

Who can say for sure if someone, somewhere, is making fake Nagiko tomatoes and selling them on the market? Who is to say if she purchased phony Nagiko or Nagiko that had passed its expiration date, causing the taste to be sweet? Instead of arresting her, you could have offered to share a sample of the product with her in front of the cameras so that you could demonstrate to her that Nagiko does not contain any sugar.

She also made some recommendations;

“Please, it is not yet too late to ask the hands of the clock to be turned back. It's my understanding that the management of Erisco Foods is likewise active on social media. To see for yourself what other people are saying about Nagiko tomatoes, please visit blogs such as dhemiatv.com or moreinfor.com, amongst others. There are 85 percent unfavourable comments in the section. This is a really serious issue. Free the lady, look for a solution to assuage the concerns of the general audience, and investigate the possibility of improving your product”.

“It is imperative that this business, which has provided financial assistance to a large number of students in my community and which distributed several million Nigerian naira to young people in my town just a few months ago, does not fail. Nothing can be explained by gragra alone. Please let the woman go regardless of whether or not you think she did that purposefully poor evaluation of the tomatoes from Nagiko. Let's not put the product in further jeopardy by causing more harm to it with our actions since Nigerians are emotional people and they are more likely to support the lady than they are Erisco goods”.
