Open Letter to those who thinks It’s all about Peter Obi - The End Justifies the Means

Open Letter to those who thinks It’s all about Peter Obi - The End Justifies the Means

Do you believe that Tinubu was victorious in the presidential election of 2023? You laugh and cheer because you have benefited in some way from the people who have raped our future, thrown garbage at us, and questioned what they can possibly do about it.

Because you didn't want Obi, you cackled with laughter and smiled in a wicked way when you heard the decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).  It must have been so simple for you to say "let us move on," "there is nothing that can be done," the door is unbolted, and the horse has been gone for a very long time. The ship has already left the harbour!!"

It's possible that one of your benefactors is currently serving in the ministry. Moving on in this open and obvious theft does nothing at this point!

Do you think it has something to do with Obi? One day, when the chickens come home to roost, our cries for justice will either be disregarded or, at the very worst, they will be handled with unfairness.

To cast our votes, we all went out into the world armed with your PVC. Many others stayed out in the heat, got soaked by the rain, were beaten up and frightened, and then went home feeling unhappy and let down. Even though they participated in the election, their ballots were never counted.

Tinubu was declared the winner, and those who felt wronged begged to take the matter to court, as if a judge or jury could possibly do a better job than the people who made the decision in the first place. They followed the instructions and appeared in court, where an enormous amount of evidence was presented and arguments were made. Their arguments packed a powerful punch, they engaged in unethical behaviour, and the level of violence and intimidation was terrifying. Everyone was made aware of it.

We were under the impression that, for once, integrity and justice would be respected. We believed that by working together and coming to a consensus, we would be able to put a stop to the lawlessness that was being practised by these politicians and the impunity that was being exercised by INEC. Unfortunately, we were unaware that DNEC (Dependable National Electoral Criminals) would lead us directly from the fire into the frying pan. And somebody in this room is giving it up for Tinubu! He was awarded the victory as a result of the judge's decision, which went in his favour.

They prevailed in the debate, but they were unsuccessful in the case. Who among you didn't witness it? The acts of violence, intimidation, unethical business methods, lying, and other forms of dishonesty, etc. They were so numerous that it was frightening.  Still, Tinubu was victorious!  He triumphed! In all aspects of wrongdoing, including injustice, corruption, and everything else, he was victorious. He triumphed by establishing a precedent according to which election campaigns and votes are not essential in order to be crowned the victor. He was successful in establishing the new requirements for electoral victory, which were as follows: "get INEC, which is now DNEC, to declare one winner, send some prayer wishes to the email boxes of the judiciary enough to put smiles on their faces, and go home and have deep snore."

You think everything revolves around Obi, don't you? It has nothing to do with Obi the person.  It is far more about us as a Nation that needs to be addressed. It is inevitable that the hens will return to their nests. It is about how this generation's awareness of integrity, morals, and values, among other things, has been corroded and eradicated to the point where it no longer exists in their consciousness. It is about betraying trust and confidence, as well as having the will to strive and work hard in order to achieve one's goals. It all comes down to the order of events.

The incompetent and corrupt judiciary's collusion is now recorded in the annals of history.  It was successful enough to earn a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. The blunders and unlawful activities that we romanticize, celebrate, and pop champagne for will one day come back to haunt us. When it happens, the anguish and humiliation that it will visit upon us as a result of it will be peppery.

Greetings, Tinubu! Your scream for justice will, one day, make its way to this course. Hail to the erudite judges. Hail to all those who find fulfillment in this Presidential election tribunal ruling. Onye si imi nkita di ya mma, ya were taa. Onye si imi nkita di ya mma.(If you are so preoccupied with the nose of a dog, you might as well cut it off and eat it.)

It has nothing to do with Obi! A whole deal more outside the scope of this generation. Sadly, the message that this verdict is sending to the impressionable minds of young Nigerians is that honest endeavours are not necessary for success. If you are willing to be dirty, play the game, know your way around, know the pricing of everything on your route to the top, and send prayer wishes to their email boxes, your shady dealings will be brought into the light.

To those who have deep pockets, I say: Never concern about your acts and inactions, do whatever you so choose, kill if it offers you access to your wish, and enable them to do the same.
